1. TALENT ACQUISITION ASSOCIATE

Batam

When you join as a Talent Acquisition Associate at Caterpillar Indonesia Batam you will help us obtain candidates to meet recruiting needs and to identify/qualify resume sourcing channels to generate and maintain pipeline of potential candidates as per the workforce planning strategies. Also, to maintain recruiting database including sourcing, profiling, resume management and hiring information. 

As the Talent Acquisition Associate , you will:
  • Execute and support the recruitment plan shared by the assigned recruiter or local recruiting team lead.
  • Generate leads and refresh candidate pipeline as well as to keep recruitment databases updated.
  • Evaluate candidate profile(s) and ensure they meet hiring specifications/requirements.
  • Provide ongoing consultation/input related to market pulse to recruiters and Regional Recruitment Managers for sourcing analysis and reporting.
  • Use the most effective sourcing channels to fill the identified positions.
  • Manage 3rd party agency/vendor relationships (if any).
  • Manage the individual candidates’ experience ensuring they are effectively moved through the recruiting process.
  • Develop processes and tools, which facilitate the administration of quality and timely data.
  • Develop and recommend solutions to problems of limited scope and complexity. Generally, resolves issues by following departmental guidelines or applying a solution that worked in the past. Can change different parts of the standard approach to serve customers best but cannot add or delete procedures without approval. Work under general supervision. Follows established documented processes and procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
  • Getting very familiar with Recruitment process, systems and tools and related control requirements. Determine and develop approaches to solutions following established documented processes and procedures.
  • Your typical internal customers include the employees at mid-range levels and candidates for more specific needs and complex roles in one or more facilities and/or Divisions.

The successful candidate must bring:

•Fluency in English.
•A college or university degree and/or equivalent experience.
•Having at least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in talent acquisition.
•Having 1+ years’ experience to use a variety of recruitment channels (LinkedIn, Indeed, portals, social/professional networking sites etc.)
•Previous experience with an applicant tracking system (preferably Workday) and recruiting CRM (preferably Beamery) and managing candidates through the recruiting lifecycle.
•Ability to assess business needs and screen/ identify top candidates as well as ability to analyze and interpret data including recruiting metrics.

Job Responsibilities:

•Pro-actively support facility production need and ensure no shut down
•Responsible and accountable for development, and/or communication and implementation of a local or regional sourcing strategy 
•Manage and Negotiate with supplier in commercial terms and reach cost reduction goal
•Lead e-sourcing and RFx bidding and make sourcing decision 
•Supplier consolidation ability and regular collaboration with key customers from PQVC/QCLDM                            
•Lead continuous improvement initiatives and coordinate with each related BU function reach agreement
•Report out spend/ saving data by monthly dashboard in time
•Ensure the purchasing process in align with EP/PP and be compliant
•Able to analyze market trend and creatively benchmark should cost module
•Management assigned tasks; Functional and independent leadership
•Ensure local Governance and compliance aligning to Purchasing practice
*Leadership on strategical discussion with multiple BU stakeholders

•Provides support to Commodity Buyers and Procurement Manager on all purchasing, logistics and material related matters. 
•This includes long term planning with suppliers on a worldwide basis (supplier alliance), participating as a member/leader of commodity teams, Business Teams, Cost Owner Teams, analyzing/resolving quality problems (internal/external, inbound/outbound), interfacing with corporate and other facilities on matters related to computer systems, providing guidance and support for salaried and hourly personnel. 
•Researches information and develops long term business plans with suppliers based on price, delivery, and quality. 
•Studies and evaluates recommendations on such things as shrinking supplier base, working with suppliers on improving their manufacturability, reviewing supplier history, and recommending improvements, etc. 
•Provides feedback to Commodity Buyers and Procurement Manager who are responsible for price negotiations with supplier and ultimate negotiation of contract.
•Provides leadership and training for material planning, demand management and engineering change/releasing implementation. Provides technical support, interpretation of statistics, etc.
•Develops and implements plans to reduce costs including purchased, worked and delivered material. Studies and makes recommendations on reducing inventory levels. 
•Contributes to increased efficiency of procurement activities by recommending improved tools and processes and works with Information Services on system changes/ enhancements.
•Participates in the NPI process and makes recommendations on when new product should be introduced, what changes can be made to existing or new product being designed to lower costs, ways to increase quality and responsiveness to customers, etc. 
•Develops common objectives supporting Product Group cost, quality and on-time introduction of NPI.
•Provides supervisory responsibilities in absence of Procurement Supervisors.

The successful candidate must bring (basic qualifications):

•Proficient in English
•A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Purchasing.
•Minimum 8-10 years’ experiences in Indirect Purchasing .
•A thorough knowledge of Indirect purchasing processes, materials management processes, manufacturing operations and Indirect Services for Manufacturing facilities .

3. LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR

BATAM

As the Logistics Supervisor, you will:

•Supervise various locations in the Logistics Department including Receiving, Order filling and Shipping, loading and unloading material, systems related grief resolution and storage of material.
•Supervising hourly personnel to ensure completion of assignments in a timely manner.
•Drive team to identify continuous improvement ideas and engage support functions to implement the same.
•Collaborate with packaging engineer to identify improvement opportunities for supplier supplied parts preservation.
•Ensuring components/goods are received, packaged, stored and Issued in an efficient, safe, timely manner.
•Manage shipping activity to ensure timely finish goods shipment with correct documentation and packaging.
•Ensuring an effective work force by assigning, directing and motivating employees.
•Enforcing company policies and procedures while abiding by the company/union contract.
•Investigate root causes and perform corrective action to resolve the problems identified.
•Responsible to support and achieve 100% Supply Chain – Logistics PQVC (People Quality Velocity Cost) targets.

4. VALUE CHAIN PROJECT LEAD (BLACK BELT)

As the Value Chain Project Lead (Black Belt) , you will:

•Be a Project Lead (6 Sigma Black Belt), you will be asked to lead value chain improvement projects. Project Lead should be capable of leading projects with an average savings per project of $150,000 and concurrently lead 3-5 projects of this magnitude. The majority of these projects will be of moderate to high complexity and focused across functional areas in the value chain.
•Lead improvement projects within end-to-end value chain and effectively coordinate these projects with the Project Sponsor, Stakeholders and other project team members. Project leadership includes identifying opportunities, defining scope, goals and financially justifying, launching project and driving the execution with PMO project management. Also leading cross-functional global teams to execute projects using Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, And Control (DMAIC) and other methodology, tracking project status and results, removing project barriers, and developing team members capabilities. It is also critical to identify integration with other projects/processes and coordinate the improvements with the appropriate project/process owners to accomplish the project goals.
•Manage the development and maintenance of methods and systems for measuring the degree to which the project goals, objectives and metrics are being met. Provide Project Sponsor with the results and adopt feedback to the project action plan as required to improve any results below target.
•Identify all Project Team Members (Green Belts) and adopt to 6 Sigma infrastructures. Provide necessary training and coaching to team members to spread the base of 6 Sigma Problem Solving tools. Ensure projects are integrated with other business strategy.
•Ensure multi-channel communication throughout the organization. This includes keeping the Project Sponsor informed of program status and ensuring coordination of activities with other stakeholders. Also, this includes capturing project case histories that can be re-used for other projects.
•Provide quantitative data analysis, indicating the scope of the operation including current year and forecast sales, net income, total assets controlled, number of personnel, operating budget, and any other quantitative factors which describe the scope of the operation.

Required qualifications:

•English fluency.
•Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering or Business or an equivalent level of work experience.
•8+ years of professional level experience in similar role.

5. CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR I

JAKARTA

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Receives requests from the sales or credit area to prepare final financing documents i.e.: Finance Lease Agreement, Loan Agreement, Fiducia Agreement and all its supporting document as required.  
•Assists in the preparation of complex documentation involving leases and financing packages. 
•Utilizes knowledge of financial transactions, Taxations, Legal, and lien documents.
•Verifies existing and enters additional contract information into the documents and system prior to distribution to the customers.    
•Maintains a follow-up system to ensure timely return of documents to CFI and follows up with dealers and customers as needed.  
•Reviews returned document packages for completeness and accuracy. If additional information or documents are needed, the incumbent communicates with the customer or dealer to obtain such information.
•Orders and tracks record searches.
•Track receipt and do proper filing of documents related to new business and renewals of previously booked business.  
•Review searches for liens conflicting with our security position.  
•Coordinate with Paralegal, Notary, and outside counsel as necessary. 
•Verifies insurance coverage to complete the document file. If additional documents are needed, contacts the customer or dealer.   
•Input transactions into the leasing system to prepare for funding. If the contract is out of balance, coordinates with the Credit Analyst for correction.
•Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department.  
•Progress toward accomplishment of these is measured through maintenance of necessary measurements and analysis of associated data.  
•Participates in the identification of problem areas and development of resolutions to address them.
•Understands the company’s policies and responsible for its application in all aspects of employment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

6. TEST MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

BATAM

The successful candidate must bring:

•University degree in a Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering-related degree.
•Minimum of 4 (four) years experiences in assembly or test process.
•Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment with thorough knowledge of manufacturing concepts related to testing process.
•Understanding in torqueing process.
•In depth knowledge and experience in PFMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Control Plan, IPV (In-Process Validation) and standard works.
•Proficiently in hydraulic and electrical systems (schematics diagrams).
•Proficient in computer assisted design (CAD) for hydraulic and electrical systems and 3D Drawing software, Creo is preferred.
•Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

•Have programming skill such as C/C++ or VB is a plus.
