1. Brand Acquisition Intern

Description

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company and support the Brand Acquisition Team. You will be working closely with the strategic partnerships team to conduct research, capture data, support with brand onboarding, and activation. 

You will get hands-on exposure to the brand acquisition and negotiation process, end-to-end onboarding of new brands, and be involved in current and ongoing projects relevant to the department. This will entail you to learn and develop hard and soft skills as well as gain experience in the e-commerce industry.

Responsibilities:

•Compile brand recommendation for Brand Acquisition Managers review and approval.
•Assist Brand Acquisition Managers to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and sign new brands.
Arrange and conduct business meetings and presentations with potential sellers.
•Actively interact and follow up with sellers to get them onboard in ZALORA.
•Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements: 

•A final year student or recent graduate
Full professional proficiency in English.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
Possess presentation skills and confidence with public speaking.
•Should be a self-starter, quick learner, go-getter, proactive, able to multitask and cope well under pressure.

ZALORA Indonesia is looking for a Buying/Merchandising Intern 

Responsibilities:

Assisting the Merchandising team to identify and evaluate brands revenue
Analyze consumer, competitor, and industry trends

Requirements:

•Last semester of college
•Available full-time Mon-Fri, 9 AM-6 PM (currently working from home)
•Willing to commit for 6 months internship duration

•Interested to learn about the buying department

3. Finance Controller

Zalora is looking for a high-performing individual to join its Indonesia Finance Team. This role will be responsible for proper and accurate accounting and finance operations at Zalora Indonesia and ensuring that Indonesia finance team comply with the standard operating procedures of the wider Zalora Group.

As the leader of Indonesia Finance Team, you will ensure that there is continuous improvement on finance processes and controls for an efficient month-end process that produce accurate and high-quality financial reports.

You will be the main business partner and serve as the contact person for finance to the other departments. This role requires excellent communication and organization skills, including the ability to anticipate, identify and communicate risks to senior leadership.

This is a unique, exciting opportunity to be part of high growth e-commerce company and provide positive contribution to ZALORA, and to your career. The role is based in our Jakarta office.

Responsibilities: 

•Manage Accounting, Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, Procurement and Tax sub-departments.
Lead Finance team to ensure timely and accurate month/quarter/year end closing and reporting.
•Supervise transaction processing operations to ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
•Manage compliance with local statutory reporting requirements and tax filings.
•Coordinate with other members of the finance team to generate and review relevant financial information.
•Provide senior management team with insightful recommendation, planning and reporting support; as required, drive implementation of relevant recommendations.
•Lead the implementation of finance workstream in the Company key projects, ongoing process and system improvement
•Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
•Manage coordination with external auditors and other advisors
•Driving team engagement and team members’ development for Finance Department
•Sharing best practices and provide support and guidance on process changes and transformation aiming to reduce finance wastage.
•Driving process efficiency activities that will deliver measurable and quantifiable process efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

•Financial degree from a reputable university in Indonesia or overseas
•8-10 years of work experience with at least 3 years in controllership activities
•CPA/CA/MBA/CIMA a plus
•Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively with business partners coupled with strong business acumen are key
•Strong controllership and compliance mindset, individual with high level of integrity
•Hands-on knowledge on business operation controls and processes
•Ability to perform critical assessment and application of policies and IFRS standards on business activities
•Good level of SAP knowledge and working experience
•Excellent command of spoken and written English
Overseas work experience is highly preferred
Advanced Excel skills required
•Organized, strategically focused, detail-oriented, self-starter and able to deal with ambiguity.

4. Product Marketing Executive

As a Product Marketing (Onsite Executive) on one of the biggest fashions & lifestyle e-commerce in SEA you will enthusiastically contribute to shaping and executing our marketing campaigns. Understanding ZALORA users by performing some regular analysis to know how users interact with ZALORA platforms. Find possibilities to optimize & improve our user experience, user journeys and driving prospects to conversions. This role is going to give you exposure to an integral part of e-commerce business.

Responsibilities:

•Support marketing teams in the day-to-day aspect of managing content across ZALORA platforms (Web & App).
•Optimize & enhance feature or function to improve user experience and conversion rate via redefining user behavior, user journey, channel distribution and marketing initiatives from varieties source.
•Conduct A/B Test to ensure all improvement and changes that lead from the Product Marketing side will drive a good impact for user experience and our metrics.
•Data Reporting, monitoring and analyzing metrics related to marketing (Funnel, Traffic, Campaign Performance, etc.) to give constructive suggestions/ insight for effective and efficient marketing strategy and operation.
•Liaise with the Product Manager to implement technology features on ZALORA environment (Website or Apps) and make sure the features are aligned with expectations and improves the overall user experience and user journey.
•Work to make users more engaged with ZALORA platforms (Web & App) like Static Page, •Gamification and other things based on research or request.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering or other relevant majors
Having min. 1 years’ experience in e-commerce, online marketing, product management or analytical roles.
Knowledge in marketing and campaign execution.
Understanding the basic knowledge of HTML, CSS & JavaScript.
Having experience In Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Tableau is a plus.
Proficiency in calculation spreadsheet (Excel) and presentation program (PowerPoint)
A data-oriented mindset, with strong analytical skills; ability to conduct data analytics / insights and create comprehensive reports.
Ability to write, read and speak English.
